Summer Research Fellowships
June-August to 2008

- Work with leading UD faculty in Biotechnology area
- Gain research experience using state-of-the-art equipment
- Easy access to east coast attractions such as New York City, Washington DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and the Delaware and Maryland beaches
- $3,500 stipend

- Cancer biology and human disease
- Biotechnology
- Nanotechnology and biomaterials
- Plant sciences
Five departments and over 33 faculty involved in the program.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Overall: US Citizen or Permanent residency required
- Target Population: Students of under-represented minority populations
- Major: Materials Science, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering preferred
- Classification: Undergraduate sophomore or junior status (rising junior or senior)
- GPA requirement: 2.5 or above
