Freshman Jacob Hewes is working with Professor Norman Wagner, doctoral student Jennifer Mills and Associate Scientist Maria Katzarova to develop geopolymer cement out of the soils found on the moon and Mars. The research has far-reaching implications that could one day help NASA establish human settlements and outposts on the moon.
