Dr. T.W. Fraser Russell, a longtime member of the University of Delaware faculty and administration, died on Nov. 29, 2019, at the age of 85.

Celebration of Dr. Russell’s life set Feb. 22 in Pearson Hall

The life of Dr. T.W. Fraser Russell, the late chemical engineering professor and University administrator, will be celebrated at a memorial service at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 22, in Pearson Hall on the University of Delaware’s Newark campus. Those planning to attend are asked to register here.

A reception will follow in the lobby of the Harker Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Laboratory. Parking will be available in the Pearson Hall parking lot.

Dr. Russell, who was the Allan P. Colburn Professor Emeritus of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, died on Nov. 29, 2019, at the age of 85. A member of the University’s chemical engineering faculty for 45 years, he also held several administrative appointments, including vice provost for research, director of the Institute of Energy Conversion, chair of the chemical engineering department, acting dean of the College of Engineering and associate dean of the college.
