The focus of the Lauterbach research group is the development and application of spectroscopic techniques to the in situ study of processes on surfaces. Key research areas are high-throughput catalysis, non-linear dynamics of heterogeneously catalyzed reactions, and IR spectroscopy of surface species on catalyst surfaces.
