I find the whole field of soft matter very exciting. I am interested in exploring a number of systems such as particles at interfaces, colloids in bulk, vesicles, colloid-polymer mixtures, and a number of other areas. The vision would be coupling fundamental understanding of these systems to design industrially relevant materials such as emulsions, foams, gels, and other novel materials.

Current research:

• Vesicle-polymer mixtures: preparation of monodisperse dispersion of vesicles, phase behavior of vesicle-polymer mixtures, their rheology and structure.
• Rheology and structure of suspensions of ellipsoids.
• Ellipsoids at interfaces.
