Daniel Cook

Daniel Cook graduated from Virginia Tech in 2008 with dual degrees in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and a minor in Microelectronics. After graduation, he worked for Norfolk Naval Shipyard as an engineer until 2011. In 2011, he began his PhD work at the University of Delaware. He joined the Ogunnaike research group in a joint project with Dr. Rajanikanth Vadigepalli at Thomas Jefferson University. His research interests are gene regulatory networks and biological modeling, focusing on the effect of chronic alcohol consumption on liver regeneration.
